Woche 55: Und es war heiß

Montag
Monday, well we met with a new friend of ours! "M" is a friend
of a member who moved to America a while back... Well, we talked
about the Restoration and why one was necessary. We testified that
Joseph Smith really did see God the Father, and Jesus Christ, His
son. And then we went dooring. We met some really nice people who
said we could come back, later... And then we went and tried to
visit a Castle, only to find out that it's private and people live
there. Kind of a bummer, but oh well...
Dienstag
Tuesday, we had District Meeting in Vienna. We talked about love
and the Holy Ghost. We discussed about love, and how it is so
important in this work!!! We need to love, love, and then love some
more!!! Like the scriptures say, we are absolutely nothing without
Charity.And charity is like the ultimate love!!! So if I can't just
love somebody, then wow... And then afterwards we stocked up on some
German and English Books of Mormon!!! Wooh, more! And then we went
home to drop them off, study a little bit of German, and then went
out on the street to do a bit of finding, and we totally found
someone who has interest in the after life! And then Brother Bauer,
our GML, took us to his home, fed us, and then we discussed some
things about missionary work.
Mittwoch
On Wednesday we went to the north part of St. Pölten. It's called
Pottenbrunn. We met someone new there, but he doesn't believe that
he can ever believe in something... But he just loves the
missionaries. And then we went to Aggsbach Markt. We are teaching
the Chinese Family at the members house. It was a really good
lesson. We finished the Restoration Lesson. We explained Joseph
Smith's story, and then we talked about the Book of Mormon. Well,
the brother, told the member, his sister, that he never doubted that
the Book wasn't of God! It was awesome!
Donnerstag
Thursday... Well, we doored some more in the neighborhood right
next to us. We actually met a few different people who were
interested in eternal families or in prophets! And then we later
doored out by the city Forest... It was pretty, but no one wanted us
there. And then it got like super hot... not as hot as
Missouri, but with no air conditioning, it might as well be. We have one tiny fan... But it's all good, I haven't died yet.
Freitag
Well, on Friday we went out to the Chinese Family again. We
taught the Plan of Salvation. They all had questions about the after
life, so we answered them and explained what will happen and how we
need to prepare for it. And we also asked if they read in the Book
of Mormon the past days. Well, they didn't all read it. But the
brother did, and he said he knew it was true! He shared an awesome
experience with us!!!
Samstag bis Sonntag
Well, Sunday we got a new Branch President. His name is Brother
Mauch, well now it is President Mauch. But, he like 29, but I am
super excited. And at church, the partions were opened for the
first time!!! Well, because of guests, but it was a great reminder
of where we wanted to get to! And then after church, we went out
finding. We were about to pass some guy, but we stopped as he was
passing us and he stopped. We asked him a couple a questions,
explained some stuff, and he said we could share a message with him
right then and there! We went to a bench and explained the
Restoration. We explained Priesthood and Angels, and the Godhead.
But he agreed to meet with us the next day!
Well, it has been super
extremely hot here, but I love it because I get to be on the Lord's Errand!
