| Wien 2 District before transfers |
Montag
Monday we taught a new person! His name is "J". We finished the
first lesson and we talked a lot about the Book of Mormon and why we
have it. It was a pretty good thing. And I think that he is planning on
reading the entire book!
Dienstag
Tuesday we had District Meeting, but this time the Zone Leaders
visited us. They gave a small part and talked about righteous pride.
We need to take pride in our work. We are on the Lord's errand. We are
a part of the greatest cause, so why wouldn't we want to have pride!?
And then we talked about teaching people, not just lessons. We talked
about being sincere, showing and expressing our love for these people.
And then we went back to St. Pölten and did some finding. We talked to
a really nice Hungarian lady and testified of the Book of Mormon. She
said we can come by with one in her mother tongue! And then we had GMK,
with our new branch president. His name is President Mauch.
Mittwoch
Wednesday we went to Pottenbrunn, and no one was home or they were too
busy. So we took the bus to Unterradelberg. While we were there, it
started to rain. It progressively got harder until it was completely
pouring. It was raining so hard! And we only had one umbrella! (I'm glad I had
the impression to take one with us when we left and even happier that I listened!) But it
was fun! Well, no one let us in...
Donnerstag
Thursday we went to Loosdorf. We doored the entire day there. Well,
for the most part of it. We told people about the living prophet and
of the Book of Mormon and testified that families can be eternal.
Unfortunately, people didn't want to listen. And then we went to a
member's house and they had friends there who gave like a small concert
thingamajig...
Freitag
Well, because Elder Smith is a problem child (not really, I'm kidding), we had to do some paper
work to take care of his residency here. Well. That was a problem
within itself. The scanner at our church isn't hooked up... But
afterwards, we went to Pressbaum. We doored some more and went by on a
less active member.
Samstag
We had a grill party on Saturday! The members roasted some pig! 30 kg
to be exact. It was amazing. And we had some awesome Kraut. And some
other Salats... And I got a little sun burnt. Good times.
Sonntag
We taught the Chinese twice. Once at the church and then we went to
their house to teach the sister. Well, we taught the Gospel of Jesus
Christ. And we extended the Baptismal Invitation. We will be working
towards the 8th of August. Well, that was our week.
